About Our Name
A course correction is a deliberate change in direction made while a journey is already underway. It is an acknowledgment that the current path may not lead where we intended and that better options remain.
AI is already spreading through institutions and daily life. Systems are being built, behaviors are being shaped, and power is being consolidated. That movement is real.
But movement is not destiny. Directions are made by people, and they can be remade.
We are not interested in stopping the future. We are interested in helping steer it.

We follow the AI transition from the side of the people living through it, examining how it is changing their work, their institutions, and their daily lives.
We search for practical course corrections that better serve the people who are too often absent from the rooms where those decisions are made.
About Our Name
A spacecraft does not usually fly in a perfectly straight line from Earth to another planet.
It launches with immense power. Years of engineering, enormous amounts of fuel, and thousands of coordinated decisions are compressed into a few minutes of acceleration.
When aiming for a planet millions of kilometres away, even the most precise calculations cannot account perfectly for every variable. A fraction of a degree in the wrong direction may seem insignificant at first. Over a vast distance, that small divergence can become an enormous miss.
The spacecraft may pass the planet entirely. It may burn too much fuel correcting late. It may enter an orbit it was never intended to reach.
This is why mission control makes course corrections while the spacecraft is still in flight.
A course correction is not an admission that the mission has failed. It is an acknowledgment that no journey this ambitious can be launched once and then left untouched. Direction must be measured, questioned, and adjusted as reality reveals what the original plan could not predict.
AI has also been launched with extraordinary force. Vast investment, computing infrastructure, corporate competition, and national ambition are pushing it forward at remarkable speed. But momentum is not the same as direction.
Movement is not destiny. Directions are made by people, and they can be remade.
We are not here to put technology on trial. We are here to hold decision-makers accountable for the directions they choose.
